Montrose Fire Protection District is hiring  TWO (2) full-time Firefighter/EMT's, Paramedics preferred           

 POSITION START DATE:                        May 16, 2025

POSITION TITLE:                                      Firefighter/EMT-Basic

 ANNUAL SALARY:                                    $70,358-$82,046 depending on qualifications

 POSITION TITLE:                                      Firefighter/EMT-A, EMT-I

 ANNUAL SALARY:                                    $75,315-$86,955 depending on qualifications

 POSITION TITLE:                                      Firefighter/Paramedic

 ANNUAL SALARY:                                    $80,063-$91,864 depending on qualifications

Education:    One (1) year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Current Certificates:   Colorado or National Registry EMT-B, Colorado Firefighter I or equivalent

Other:                       Valid Driver’s License

Age:                            Must be over the age of twenty-one (21) years at the time of application

 Firefighter/EMT-A, EMT-I: Minimum Qualifications to Apply

Education:                   One (1) year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Current Certificates:   Colorado or National Registry EMT-A or EMT-I, American Heart Association ACLS Provider, Colorado Firefighter I or equivalent

Other:                          Valid Driver’s License

Age:                            Must be over the age of twenty-one (21) years at the time of application

 Firefighter/Paramedic: Minimum Qualifications to Apply

Education:                   One (1) year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
