Open Burning Information

If you are burning inside of City limits, first obtain a burn permit which is fast and free of charge. You can obtain a burn permit at Fire Station 1.

If you burn outside of city limits please call 249-9110 prior to burning and when finished.

Compliance Officer

Montrose Fire Protection District has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations. The compliance officer has received training in website accessibility and updates the site in accordance with those best practices. Contact our accessibility officer to report an issue.
